More info from Curing Kids Cancer:
Atlanta Braves All-Star closer Craig Kimbrel and his wife Ashley Kimbrel are hosting an exclusive fundraising eventNovember 15, “Cowboy Boots & Cocktails.” Venue is Egyptian Ballroom of Atlanta’s Fabulous Fox Theatre.
The event benefits Atlanta-based charity, Curing Kids Cancer, which Craig and Ashley Kimbrel have been very involved with for two years. The organization funds cutting edge pediatric cancer research with the goal of finding cures in our lifetime.
Featured entertainment, the Kimbrels’ friend, Warner Bros. recording artist and country music sensation Cole Swindell, an Atlanta favorite with current hit country song “Chillin It.”
In addition to featuring a private concert, food and drinks, some very special young survivors will participate in an awesome experience: “Ashley’s Angels,” four teenage cancer patients and survivors, will receive special makeovers, outfits and a night’s accommodations after the show.
Craig hopes to meet many fans at the event who share his passion for helping children with cancer.
Tickets and sponsorships are available at CuringKidsCancer.org – individual tickets are $150 including food, drinks and concert.
I'm very excited to go and hopefully I'll be able to speak with Kimmie and Mrs. Kimmie about how they chose this charity. And of course, excited to hear Cole Swindell perform. If you listen to country radio in Atlanta, you've probably heard his hit "Chillin' It":
I'll be tweeting from the event. Hope to see you there! Tickets are still available!
