We miss you too, Marteen. Just sneak onto the Braves team charter on Wednesday. I won't tell anyone. ❤ Martin Prado makes up for lack of offense with bro hugs Prado excited to face former Braves teammates

Prado has remained in touch with a number of the Braves players.

"I've been talking to Eric O'Flaherty and Craig Kimbrel and they said, 'We're going to throw you fastballs right down the middle' and I said, 'Yeah right, I believe that,'" Prado said with a laugh.

Prado's close friend, Atlanta catcher Brian McCann, is back on the field after missing the first month of the season with an injured right shoulder.

"I'm so happy that McCann is playing," Prado said. "He's such a good teammate, a real professional. He takes winning very seriously, he's a competitor. He's a real humble guy and he helps a young team, the young kids. I'm just happy he's healthy." Braves notes: Catching up with Prado; Heyward, Beachy updates

Because Martin Prado was traded in January and his Diamondbacks have spring training is in Arizona, Braves players will see their former teammate for the first time Monday when they open a three-game series at Phoenix. There will be hugs.

“If you’re not looking forward to seeing Martin, you’re not a very good person,” Braves second baseman Dan Uggla said. “He’s one of my favorites of all time. I’m excited to see him.”

Basically, yes.
