Called my cousin Catherine to tell her the news, knew she'd be devastated. The last relevant thing she said was, "Well, when he goes to Gwinnett that's gonna be a lot closer [to my school]!"

Stay optimistic, Braves fans. A lot of players are coming back stronger and better after Tommy John these days. I'll be praying all goes well!
