A good baseball fight can make my day, especially when the bullpens empty. :D Here's Yunie getting hit on Friday night -- LINK
The next afternoon, Lowe returned the favor by plunking their #19, star Joey Votto. He got fist bumps all around in the dugout afterwards, thanking him for taking care of business. Good job, Butt Cutt.
Speaking of, he just appeared on-screen in today's Braves Live and my roommate cracked up at his hair. She's so fun!

First of all, I love that Max is presenting the DVD for us.
I may have to buy this for my dad for Christmas. Still one of my all-time best Braves memories. I remember sitting on the couch all sad, Mom had gone on to bed & Dad checking the door lock & standing by me saying what a great year they had & that we should be proud of them. Then a glimmer of hope. I don't remember jumping off the couch but I must have because Dad & I were jumping up & down in the living room. Mom had to come running to see what the screaming was about. I think that was the most exciting game I've ever watched on TV, even over the WS win, because it was so unexpected.

Max's owner was quite amused that I got him to pose for the picture. What? I crinkled the wrapper like a treat and he sat and smiled! :D
(He did get a real treat later.) :)

Oooh. I am so jealous (maybe that's the right word?). I only EVER see the Phillies version of this commercial. Its not like I don't live in Braves country, I live smack dab in the middle of the A. Sheesh! But, absolutely delighted you shared this with us! <3
And yes, you are ABSOLUTELY right! They're going to put on a show for us to remember. Kick some butt Bravos!

Oh, I've seen the Phillies version about a million times (and I have an Atlanta street address!). This was during yesterday's Intentional Talk, so it was on a national broadcast on MLB Network. I like that. :)
