Swiped from gondeee over at Talking Chop, please enjoy the following video from the AJC...
I love that commercial! And I can't wait to see Jair next week!
Hilarious, Chop-Chick. :D
Lauren I will pay good money if you can find and post next week's video with JJ!
Just so you know I still have Francoeur's new intro song stuck in my head…been trying to get it out all day, nearly succeed, get in my car to go home and of course it is the first song that comes on…ARRGGGHH!
It seems the AJC will be doing this weekly, so the vids will probably be linked on their Braves page when they post them each week, as they did with Jeff's vid.
Jeff is still such a dork! You can't help but love him.
i saw this on the ajc's website this week, and i literally cried laughing while i was sitting here at work. akon?! really? love it, love him, and i wish i could figure out how to post this video on my blog. i hope this year really is a turn-around year for jeff!
First of all, I wasn't taking pictures of Prado's butt. You were. Let's get that right. :P
Secondly, he said, "'EY! Quit tikin' pictures of my teammate's ***."And after you denied it and tried to deflect blame on me while I was desperately trying to truthfully deny the accusation(thanks, btw), he said, "I saw you get your cameras out as soon as he walked across this stage!" Which is when I turned red. I don't know that this happened, per se, but I could feel my ears get hot.
Last but not least, Marteen was pretty much the best part of… everything. Ever. Because he is made of magic and he can do anything.
1. I wasn't taking pictures of his butt, exactly. I was using my camera's zoom, trying to see what was on it. Turns out it was his mic pack – it totally looked like a pager or a phone case, and I kept thinking, there's no way Prado would wear his phone outside his pants like an old man. That's why I was taking a picture.
2. I think it's funny that you heard "my teammate" and I heard "Marteen". ;)
Also, this is why I needed you to help me remember the rest of the story? Some stories I remember all of. Some, not so much. You remember Marteen stories quite well. Hee hee.
3. You're hilarious. :D
I see to recall seeing it too so it must have run nationally (or my brain is just making things up. Entirely possible at 7:30 in the morning). He looks so weird with HAIR!!! ;)
I love the perfectly styled curl in the front. It's adorable! I want to hug 3-year-old Jonny right this second, he's so cute!!! <3 …I'm fine.
I think that's the most amount of words he's ever said an one time frame… :-)
Well you know, they probably shot this all in one day and then edited it to 30 seconds. ;)
He had his dreamy eyeballs when he was a kid Lar!!! This is too cute…I've watched it 1/2 as many times as you!
Yeah it played nationally. I'm from Philly and I remember it.
Em, you crack me up.
vanfanusa, thanks! I knew I remembered it! I've always loved ads/commercials — I took a lot of extra marketing and advertising classes in high school and college (was one class short of a marketing minor in college).
“I enjoy tryin’ to make those guys look as good as I can.”
