I am very grateful to Dave O'Brien of the AJC for giving us regular updates in his blog.

Bennett feels good enough to pitch, Cox said….
UPDATE ON GONZO: I asked Bobby if Gonzalez might be here as soon as mid-May, and he said yes, he hopes so. So now it’s gone from all-star break to early June to late May to mid-May.
He’ll pitch in extended spring games starting tomorrow and Saturday, and after that he might begin a rehab assignment….
GLAVINE threw a bullpen today, not just played catch as originally planned. Went fine….
Oh, and I just talked to SMOLTZ at 6:30 outside the clubhouse, and he said he feels good today.
Didn't see Gonzo or Glavine at all yesterday, but saw plenty of Smoltz!

April 23, 2008 8:56 PM | Link to thisCrack, I talked to Moylan this afternoon. He’ll stay back here and rehab while team’s on road. When they return, he’ll throw and see how it feels. But they’re not expecting miracles. I’ll be shocked it it’s not season-ending surgery.
He didn’t give a very encouraging or hopeful response when I asked how he feels. Sort of a shoulder-shrug sort of answer.
He wasn't mobilizing his elbow when fielding BP yesterday...meaning, he could bend his arm to rest his hand on his hip but when it came time to throw, he was doing it with a stiff, flat arm. That was his sidearm motion -- the rest were either underarm or overhead-into-the-ground motions.

Excluding this year (I assume) we always sit behind the dugouts for birthday games, I never get to much, but I love the service.
This year though, for my birthday atleast, i'm thinking we may trade in some tickets and get outfield pavillion seats right next to the bullpen :)

Dodger Stadium has seating like that now…right next to the dugouts and no netting (really fun on foul balls!) so when any of you want to come out (ahem august 6,7,8,9) and play with me…they also have a full bar if you are so inclined ;)

CA- I'd love to. Unfortunatley, I'll be back in school by then xp.
You should come chill with us in the ATL :D

I've sat in the section next to the bullpen before, I like it over there. :D
I'm taking my granny to her first ever braves game at any stadium sometime this summer and I want to buy really good tickets. If any of you know what the "section number" of a good area is please let me know. I know you can look at the seating chart but you just can't tell until you see it live whats GREAT vs whats just GOOD.

If I was taking my grammy to a game (she's 80, BTW), I'd sit in section 204, 206, 208, or 210. That's the terrace level and is in the shade, plus you're far enough down on the field that the view is great. It's between home plate and third base, so the higher the number is, the closer to 3B (and the better view into the dugout!). They're better-priced than dugout-level seats, and they are high enough off the field to get a little breeze. :)
Email me if you have any other questions — I have some good pics. :)

Thanks for the suggestions, Lauren. She's 82 and wants field level seats lol but she has no idea what that is. I really dont mind paying a lot for a couple good seats since its the only game she'll probably ever get to since we live 2 hours away.
I will email later you for some pics of that section if you have them?
She specifically wants to go to a Saturday game and she wants to go to a 4:00 game so its not so late when she gets home lol. So that limits me to the July 18th Mets game and, I think, August 1st Dodgers game.
